About the role

For Midware your creativity and personal style nurtures the development of the solutions we provide to our clients, for this the Senior UX / UI Designer focuses on imagining beyond and delivering intuitive, user-centered designs from project concept through execution. The primary purpose of the role is to refine the creation of user flows, wireframes, interaction design, high-fidelity visual designs, redlines, and assets for business and consumer-facing web applications. At Midware your work will be supported by a creative and flexible development team where we value ideas and your personal style in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Profile

The ideal candidate is a resourceful, responsible and proactive person. Creative and flexible understanding of computer science, good communication skills, website design and UI/UX experience are a must. This role requires excellent leadership skills, passion for detail and the ability work on a highly energetic team inspiring creativity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product design, or similar.

• Experience: 1-2 years in the field working collaboratively with UX, creative, technology, and marketing teams.

• Detail-oriented.

• English: Level B2+.

• Knowledge of user-centered design process.

• Must possess superior UX and UI with proven ability to create and document compelling interaction design solutions via findings, personas, journeys, mental models, site maps, among others.

• Proper time management and design process documentation ability.

• Ability to Perform research, benchmarking, and user testing

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Photoshop, InDesign, among others.

• Commitment to the project, passion for designing and creativity. 

• The desire to continually improve the quality of your work and develop a costarrican tech startup.
